There are many nights when I sit in complete solitude, wrapped in my own thoughts, quietly building the life I truly want.

By day, I move through an existence that no longer feels like mine. But when darkness comes, I am alone and fully here, creating.

In the stillness, I feel the sharp, cold emptiness of sharing this journey with no one but God.

It hurts. Yet somehow I know this is exactly what is meant to be.

My soul has been through such a deepening process. By deepening, I mean clearing.

Coming to peace with my past.

I have had to face my greatest fears and loss in a time of complete isolation.

My heart ached. Every single moment felt like pure agony. I learned to numb it all out the best way I could. Not knowing that this was truly the becoming. The greatest awakening in my life so far.

I should have known.. I saw all the signs before. It’s like god put them all there to remind me that this was all part of the agreement in life.

I had to endure the entire spectrum of emotions to truly understand the meaning of it all.

And the truth is, it’s love. Its connection. It’s showing up for you most importantly and letting the rest fill the extra spaces.

I have found that all god wants to do in these periods of life is to protect you, to purify you, and to get you to see how much love can become when you spiral gently back into the doorway of your soul. He’s always knocked on windows and doors to get you to really see.. he’s been there all along. Believing in you when you couldn’t even recognize your own presence in the reflection of mirror.

He saw you, he bathed you with love every second you thought he was gone. He poured more love when you ran back to what’s familiar. The things that hurt your soul, hurt him. He says, my love you are precious to me. I will never give up on you, as long as you keep seeing my presence in the places you have forgotten to see in yourself. I am there.

See me, if you can’t see anything else. I am there. Reflecting back at you. Understand this, when you are willing to love so deeply and feel so deeply I am always so much closer than you think. And when you are lost and life feels empty and dark, I am still there holding you in every moment and in every breath.

Lately, I’ve found myself sitting on the shower floor, letting the warm water run over me as if it knows something I don’t. It’s the only place where the world quiets down long enough for me to hear myself breathe.

And it’s the only place that I have felt truly safe..

And somewhere in that quiet, I realized something:

I’m not doing this healing for the woman I am today.

I’m doing it for the little girl inside me.

The one who didn’t get what she needed when she needed it most…

She’s the one who still cries when things fall apart.

She’s the one who feels abandoned when people leave.

She’s the one who panics when love disappears suddenly.

She’s the one who feels broken when life gets loud.

And when I sit in the shower, I finally hear her.

I hear her whisper,

“Please don’t give up on me.”

I hear her fear,

“I’m trying my best.”

And I hear her hope,

“Can we start over?”

I used to think healing was about becoming stronger, more confident, more successful … and being the kind of woman who has her life figured out.

Healing isn’t about becoming someone new.

It’s about going back for the little girl who had to grow up too fast.

Her hopes, dreams, and desires all have came back to me, and yes I could not stop grieving this intense pain. I had abandoned her all this time.

It makes me so sad to see that I haven’t honored myself the way I should have been.

In all of this pain, I know so much beauty can come from it.

• She deserved love that didn’t make her question her worth.

• She deserved safety and consistency.

• She deserved people who stayed.

• She deserved to be held, not tested.

• She deserved a world where her emotions weren’t “too much.”

• She deserved gentleness.

Every time I sit in the shower, I imagine her sitting next to me.

And I tell her:

“I’m here. I’m not leaving you. Not this time.”

Healing isn’t glamorous.

Sometimes it’s sitting on the shower floor while water washes over old wounds you’ve been pretending not to feel… for so long.

But these days the only motivation I have is to keep going for her.

For the girl who learned to survive when she should’ve been learning to play.

She was always so creative and unique.

It was all taken away when people kept taking that light from her.

For the girl who kept loving even after being hurt.

For the girl who never had the luxury of falling apart.

For the girl who had such a big heart that was never understood.

I’m doing it so she can grow up again.

This time with someone who protects her.

Someone who chooses her.

Someone who listens to her.

Someone who loves her.

And that someone will be me.

Florence Scovel Shinn.

She was so ahead of her time.

I have already written about her before, but now I am writing something new, something different.

A fresh new perspective of her journey.

She became the author of many incredible books, but before that, she was a illustrator and artist. She attended art school at a young age and later met another artist. They fell in love, shared a life filled with artistic adventures, and even opened an art studio together, but after 14 years, they eventually went their separate ways…

After her divorce, she entered a “rebirth” period of introspection that became the catalyst for a new life and a new way of thinking.

She delved deeply into spirituality and metaphysics.

She discovered this New Thought movement. A spiritual philosophy that was about the power of the mind, affirmative prayer, and a God who is present in everyday life and began applying these ideas to her own experiences.

Such a beautiful perspective.

They called her Little Flossie. She took some time to recover from the blow. And when she did she embarked on an entirely new career and seems never to have drawn again. She got religion but in a way all her own.”

“She did not simply join an existing church or retreat from the world; instead, she forged her own unique spiritual path, one tailored to her personality and practical outlook.”

After forging her into her own path, Florence Scovel Shinn had become a New Thought 💭 teacher in New York City, sharing the principles she was learning. She began giving lectures and workshops. She gained a small and devoted group.

In 1925, at age 54, she completed her first book, The Game of Life and How to Play It . (One of my favorite books).

Our thoughts and words have creative power, and that through faith and right thinking one can shape one’s destiny. She presented these ideas in plain language.

She used vivid anecdotes and references to scripture to illustrate metaphysical principles.

“The invisible forces are ever working for man who is always ‘pulling the strings’ himself, though he does not know it. Owing to the vibratory power of words, whatever man voices, he begins to attract.” .

In Shinn’s view, life is not a random struggle but a kind of spiritual game governed by laws of consciousness – and by learning those laws, anyone can “play” the game of life to win health, happiness, and prosperity.

Faith over Fear, and the Law of Non-Resistance:

Release the fear of lack.

Release the fear of doubt.

Release the fear of the unknown.

She was a firm advocate of replacing fear with faith and practicing non-resistance to adversity.

She said that any power in a “bad luck” was essentially faith in evil, not God.

And when you have Courage It contains “genius and magic”: if one confronts a situation boldly and without resistance, the problem often dissolves on its own.

Each person has a Divine Design or perfect plan for their life held in the superconscious mind (or God-mind). Our highest good – the right job, the right relationships, and so on – are part of this divine blueprint .

“The Human confusion or willfulness can lead us to chase things not meant for us, resulting in frustration and heartbreak.”

Leading to another belief that you must only want things by your divine right. Stop chasing things that you KNOW are not meant for you.

Your intuition speaks louder than you realize.

When you pursue things that go against your soul's will, it only leads you further from true joy and prosperity. One of the best prosperity quotes from Shinn:

“God is the Giver and the Gift; therefore, as one is one with the Giver, he is one with the Gift.”

Jesus was also a big part of her life.

She referenced the Bible in all her teachings, but in a metaphysical and practical light.

She used Jesus’s words “As you sow, so shall you reap” to explain karma, or “Ask, and it is given” to encourage confident prayer.

She believed in a more personal and direct relationship with the Divine (or “Infinite Spirit” as she often said), and that God speaks through intuition and desire to guide each soul.

I have related deeply to her path.

It was independent and unique.

She did not find a church or formal school of her own. Instead, she operated as a kind of freelance teacher and healer, offering her insights through books and talks that anyone could use. (of any background)

She believed in herself and she brought magic.

This was a true inspiration.

I know my designs, passions, and ideas are all clues to my soul blueprint and Florence taught this. She believed that you have the power to take yourself out of victim mentality and take control of your life.

The magic is always there. It’s up to you to see it.

I’ve been dealing with a lot of fear about loss—whether it’s money, safety, timing, or identity, and it’s been tough to focus on the magic lately. But Florence reminded me that fear is just faith pointed in the wrong direction—it fuels a sense of lack.

When you release resistance and choose trust, you create openings for miracles. 💫

Three months ago, I chose trust when I began my six-month mentorship with a group of women, and it has brought up many uneasy emotions.

This fear of loss will stop the natural flow of love. Not only mine, but god’s love in my life.

Let it go — and don’t withhold.

Learn to receive, and then to create.

This will lead to the growth of your true self.

We often hesitate to take risks because we crave control, and when things don't go our way, it can feel overwhelming. However, this same fear and need for control are what keep us feeling stuck the most.

I’m more open and exposed about my wounds and traumas than I’ve ever been before, and it’s something I’m still not used to.

I’m pushing myself far beyond my comfort zone, and no one ever said it would be easy.

My soul longs for a fresh start and staying the same only builds more resentment.

“Man must make the first move. When he shows faith, the law moves and supply rushes to meet demand.” -Shinn

This is the key part of everything:

I have looked externally for answers and invested in everything else, but me.

I spent hours studying, reading, listening to audiobooks, and watching podcasts, but nothing compares to simply being with myself.

Finding solitude and listening to my own heart in silence has given me more peace and clarity than anything else ever could.

The world is so complex and there are constant distractions and influences that shape us all in small ways every day.

I’m still learning to embrace my true essence and let go of what doesn’t serve me, but I keep applying Florence Shinn’s principles throughout my life.

Her words carry so much depth and meaning and she had profound wisdom.

Her affirmations are in my social media bios and scattered all over my fridge at home.

They have supported me through my toughest times and lifted me to my happiest moments.

Magic is everywhere. Always.

Finding the path of being a truth seeker and catalyst, one who carries the fire of inquiry and the courage to ask questions others fear to voice.

I know I am not here to accept surface answers. My soul digs deep into the depths of doubt and uncertainty.

I am learning to transmute them into innovation and truth. My radiance emerges when I move lightly yet profoundly, transforming heaviness into wisdom.

I am sparking rebirth and change while honoring the harmony of the whole.

I believe the grief, pain, and heartbreak can be transformed into art.

Bringing love from confined spaces, to freedom.

The magic of the path lies in my ability to hold both shadow and light with grace. I know my life’s work is not simply to find answers, but to awaken others to the living truth within themselves.

I am taking some space to breathe slowly.

The things that used to matter, hurt, or even bring comfort just don’t land the same way anymore. It’s so unrecognizable — not broken, just different. And even though that feels strange, I know it doesn’t have to mean something bad. It may just be a shift, like my heart is making space for a new way of being.

The word Shetaut means “hidden” or “mystery,” and Meri means “love.”

My heart felt heavy tonight, but I came across this word, and something pulled me deeper, and I wanted to learn more.

“The unseen” and a “divine light that we all eventually come back to”

A strong urge and a lesson that spoke to me more than anything has in a while.

I’ve never taken any kind of medication to ease anxiety or depression.. probably should have tried therapy at least twice..and I know there are lots of painful things that have happened in my life, but I’ve stood ground as best as I could.

I must be somehow protected and loved… I guess?

I am trying to stay a good person and I want to do good for others.

I don’t want to lose myself in this world that has been heart shattering in so many different ways.

I felt restless, irritable, angry, and exhausted, but more than usual today.

I decided to take a bath to calm down, and thank god I did.

For a moment, I wasn’t thinking, just feeling, but then I felt this overwhelming feeling.

It felt like the water was slowly taking out all negative energy out of my body slowly.

I looked down and I saw how the water was blocked between my legs, and then it wasn’t.

Playfully, I closed then opened my legs just sitting in silence watching the water flow in between.

I saw a big connection.

A connection of a closed heart that continually blocks love.

Whose heart I must say ?

Mine.

I have always known that there is a oneness that we all will return too. Sounds beautiful, but all I can think is, why?

I don’t understand, and i’m not sure how to love so freely.

My love is so deep, but yet so shallow.

How is this possible?

I played too many games.

As easy as it used to be in the past, it’s dark and heavy now, and to be honest, I’m JUST feeling tired.

By the game, I mean..

Protect myself?

Allow it in?

Or.. just block it all out.

Love runs steady through us all, but why is it the very thing we always deny?

Surrender, surrender, surrender.

I hear it more times than I can count, but tonight was something new, something different.

My heart opened to these words tonight “Shetaut Meri”

“Shetaut Meri teaches that God is “the Beloved One” (Neter Meri). Ancient Kamitan (Egyptian) texts and modern Neterian teachers stress offering oneself to the Divine as the heart of practice. For example, one guide says: “Offer oneself to God – surrender to God – become one with God.” This surrender in loving devotion is the aim”

“One teaching says: “Devotion to the Divine leads to freedom from the fetters of Set” (the obstacles of ego) . By loving devotion, the student dissolves negativity and re-awakens the “inner lotus” of the heart. Indeed, Kemetic mysticism uses lotus imagery: just as the lotus flower rises purified each day, the aspirant in Shetaut Meri “turns away from worldly attachments… and like a blooming lotus… turns to the Divine Self” , shedding fear and separation.”

A lot of this self-reflection brought the point: the deep ache of unworthiness is learned, not natural.

• Somewhere along the way, probably early on and then reinforced in relationships, I learned: “Love is given to others more freely than to me.”

• The wound wasn’t that you’re unworthy — it was that people you gave yourself to couldn’t meet you. Your system took that as proof: “It must be me.”

So, because I believe I’m not worthy and this was learned early on, I have been in this extreme cocooning phase, and the fear of never coming out of it lingers again, but there is a beauty and something so relieving to me.

I’m still in the mud, in the cocoon, but that doesn’t mean I’m unloved. It means my love is sacred, prepared slowly, and meant to open in its own season.

Like the lotus. 🪷

“Thus, Shetaut Meri teaches that inner transformation (the “cocooning” of ego) is achieved by loving through the process. The “burning fire of Divine Love” purifies doubts and ignorance, and like the lotus, the aspirant turns steadily toward the Light.”

Give, give, give love.

I will continue to open my heart to god. No matter how badly I’ve been broken.

Allowing my heart to heal & soften from it all.

The way rage runs through my body.

Sadness.

Deflecting my emotions and making jokes out of them.

Patience.

All the patience I had given to people that didn’t deserve a second chance.

No more listening to anyone who says you’re “wrong” for following your own heart & path.

What the fuck do these people even know?

It is a path of both mystical union and warm devotion – a gentle, yet profound guide for anyone seeking solace, purpose, and reunion with the sacred.

I let go of limiting attachments.

I let go and follow my own path.

It does not deprive my soul of love; instead it lets love flow more freely and universally.

These feelings of “I don’t understand” must be part of the cocoon — the mystery stage. It is hidden until it flowers.

I’ve been dreaming of a new world.

I’ve often drifted into dreams to escape the weight of reality, dissolving into illusions that feel safer than the present.

It’s the part where you tell yourself lies. So, you push it away until the weight of it all comes creeping up on you.

The only way to survive is to go through it.

Maybe the real magic isn’t in escaping life, but in weaving the unseen into clarity and beauty.

It’s about her realizing that even looking at the bright side too long, can give you sunburn

In these moments of uncertainty.

I let the water seep through my hands.

I’ve tried to hold it all in, but soon it slides between my fingers.

The deep unknown feelings of hot and cold come up. Scary and unsettling, I try to remain steady remembering these feelings were never really mine to keep.

It’s like I’m watching this in slow motion. I see each drop carrying a story, a goodbye, and moments I thought would last forever.

I look through the reflections and all I see is faces and places that no longer exist. Nothing, but memories.

I close my hands tighter, but even then the water finds its way out. Soon, I try to grasp more, but it overflows. Until, I realize I’m two seconds away from drowning.

Then, I hear It whispering.

“What is meant for me will not need my grip to stay.”

So, I let go, and I’m floating down the river.

Soft and slow.

I let my worries return to the flow of the river.

I allow myself to be cleansed with the wisdom that the light will fill up again within me, but only if I choose to surrender and flow.

I feel the sun’s kiss shining down, and I’m soaking in every bit.

I breathe out the fear and slowly breathe in the places I’m truly meant to be.

I look up, I see clouds and the birds are singing all around me, and once again, I remember the beauty that’s inside each of us.

A place so sacred and so precious.

An endless stream.

Build the sanctuary within yourself.

No matter how many times you’ve given yourself away, and let yourself become so empty.

No matter how many times you said to yourself, maybe just one more time I’ll show them I’m worth it, then maybe they will finally see, and love me for me.

How can I say “I am” when “I” only see you and everything else, but me.

Maybe this person will finally be valued, appreciated, and respected. They will continue to deflect and run so far away, and only focus on everything else so this “I” doesn’t exist.

How many times did this “I” question & wonder why this person was never enough.

Then, someday when it all hurts just a little too much, it hits, and you realize how hollow inside you’ve become.

You finally let go and all that is left is this empty place that feels like she never really had anything to offer to anyone or anything, because she never really existed.

It is not up to anyone or anything to see. It is up to me to see, but now I can only see this new version of me.

A new version that is picking the dead weeds because the little girl inside couldn’t all by herself.

So, it’s time to start now.

I see myself tending to this garden inside that has been aching for attention.

It needs me, and it has been screaming through my veins.

These are the same veins that go through our hearts every second to every day, and i’m done letting poison run through the door to something so precious, and sacred.

It’s begging me to come back to a place that was lost and became dark for so long.

I am never truly empty if I have everything, and everything has always been in me and I have all the seeds to plant.

I am allowing myself to grow with the intention that something so big, and beautiful is not for “someday” but for right now, because I only have this moment and I am the sacred place, and the extension is the sanctuary I will keep building.

Yoga has become my gateway to deep healing. Yoga isn’t supposed to be perfect, and sometimes with me it feels super messy.. I see people who have done yoga for years and they are so great.

The strength they have built always amazes me. I used to compare myself and think “wow.. I could never be that good” but the truth, Its fine and totally ok to not be that GREAT. It’s not just for people who do it everyday and commit their entire lives to it. It was definitely never supposed to be.

As long as you follow the basis of yoga practices, you are doing it right. You just need your own little flow. That’s it!

It’s about aligning different layers of emotions. It’s grounding. Like, putting roots in that bring peace.

It’s like tending to a garden, I clear out emotions that don’t belong and nourish what wants to bloom! Afterwards, I always feel a little bit more whole and alive.

Wow. This one feels different.

Not because I’ve got it all figured out—but because I finally don’t need to.

The exploration is the true excitement in this journey.

I am learning that living in the present moment is what truly matters and questioning and doubted myself for many years doesn’t do anything, but just slow me down. This year I’m not shrinking to fit into old roles or old stories anymore.

This time I’m choosing softness, strength, rest, and ambition.

I’ve walked through heartbreak, endings, and isolation, but this all led me to deep self reflection—I’ve lost myself a few times, but I’ve always found my way back. I’ve known deep emotional pain, but instead of breaking me, it broke me open.

I’m staying focused in finding soulful love, and meaningful freedom. No longer surviving, but stepping into my power, with grace and fire.

This is about becoming the most real version of me. I am building a life that feels good on the inside, and not just what it looks like to everyone else on the outside.

It’s so important for me to create, explore, love, and heal.

I am taking risks that scare me a little bit, but will align with my soul.

I’m only chasing timelines that reflect my highest self.

I don’t need to stress and worry all the time about my future. I am right on time and exactly where I need to be.

I am planting deep roots in purpose.

This next chapter?? It’s the most honest, magnetic, and soul-aligned one yet.

28 is my return to joy. To truth. To magic. 🪄

To me, the subtle art of simplicity is woven into life’s smallest moments—the ones we often overlook but that quietly nourish our souls.

Have you ever just stopped and watched the birds outside your window? Or curled up in a hammock with a book. Every time I sit in a hammock, I let the world fade and all the stories I read within the book become my sanctuary.

This is my slice of heaven.

When I take this time to rest. It’s how I make sense of chaos, express the unspeakable, and bring meaning to the everyday. . It’s a reminder that life isn’t just about existing—it’s about feeling, creating, and connecting.

I try to take it easy and reflect on what I’ve achieved in the day. Big or small, because it matters, and in every moment I try to choose beauty, honesty, and curiosity because all of that matters too.

I want to embody this artfully life, because I know this is where the true magic of being alive is. I know it is a forever continuous dance with the universe, and slowing down just allows me to move with it, not against it. 🌿

Shedding skin like a snake is hard because it symbolizes the painful, vulnerable process of growth and transformation. Unlike a snake, which instinctively knows when to molt, we resist change and we cling to old identities, beliefs, and patterns for comfort.

I was thinking, nature just knows what to do, there is no overthinking it or making a whole detailed plan always. Maybe.. that’s how it should be when we follow our own instincts, and let things flow? Instead, we push ourselves to burn out, and then end up accomplishing nothing. We could be accomplishing more when we allow ourselves to receive, instead of control.

The hardest part of it requires confronting discomfort, facing the unknown, and letting go of what no longer serves in our lives anymore. It can definitely feel raw, exposing, and emotionally intense, but letting it go may all just be worth it.

What are some of the meanings & symbolism of the snake?

1. Transformation. Shedding, represents releasing the old self.

2. Healing & Medicine – In ancient Greek tradition, the snake is associated with Asclepius, the god of medicine.

3. Wisdom & Knowledge – In the Bible, the serpent represents knowledge of good and evil; in Kundalini yoga, it represents awakened spiritual energy. Snake symbolism in nearly every ancient culture as well.

4. Power & Fertility – Serpents are often linked to primal life force, sexuality, and fertility due to their connection with the earth and their phallic shape.

5. Protection & Danger – The serpent can be both protector and threat. Its venom can kill or heal. It is a dual symbol of both destruction and salvation.

“There’s something so ancient and magnetic with the way earthy architecture works. It’s kind of a mutual agreement between spirit and form. From one angle, it’s deeply personal: a reminder that every choice we make can be planted like a seed, patient and unseen, until it blooms into something real.”

Our intentions not only ripple, but it will touch the lives of others.

Earthy architecture is a way of building that feels deeply connected to the land — it’s raw, organic, and soulful.

Plant the right seeds, but learn to listen better, to trust the seasons even when we can’t see the harvest yet. It’s about surrender and about realizing we’re not separate from the soil or the sky — we are part of the prayer & the garden.

This is the beauty and correlation between ourselves and nature.

There is a natural architecture here that mirrors the inner spaces we try to build within ourselves.

Leave these open spaces for wonder, for becoming, for dissolving into something greater.

One of my Favorite artist is James Turrell. He understood this. He didn’t build monuments; he shaped the perception of light itself.

He doesn’t just work with materials; he works with perception itself. His sky spaces for an example, are architectural portals- rooms open to the sky. 🌌

Sometimes I forget how important it is to come back to myself—to truly ground. I get caught up in my thoughts, in the rush of everything around me, But when I pause, close my eyes, and breathe with intention, I remember. I feel the weight of my body again, the way the earth quietly holds me without asking for anything in return. That’s what grounding feels. It’s like returning home to the most natural part of me. Meditation helps with that. It’s not always easy, but when I sit in stillness, even for a few moments, I notice the noise softens. I can hear my own heartbeat. It’s a reminder that I don’t need to chase anything to be whole; everything I need to feel calm, clear, and connected is already here, inside me, and around me, in this present moment.

There is something so beautiful about feeling your feet on the ground again, like you’re not just existing but truly alive in the here and now.

So, there’s something about architecture that reminds me of grounding—of coming back to earth, quite literally also. The way a space is built, how it holds you, how it shapes your experience.

I’ve always been drawn to earthy textures in design. When I think of grounding through design, I think of a very delicate space. I believe your inner world truly reflects your outer. It’s really important to keep an aesthetically unique atmosphere that means something to you. No matter how big or small it is.

Design is also not just about what looks good, it’s about how you feel in a space. It’s about creating environments that allow you to soften, to slow down, to root into the present.

I want to design my space with that intention and the kind of subtle beauty that makes you feel held. It’s a design that doesn’t just decorate life, but deepens it. That’s the kind of architecture and aesthetic I’m always searching for—one that brings me back to the earth, and ultimately, back to myself.

Reclaiming my time, creativity, and energy.

I’ve been drifting through a world that moves without me, like my body shows up but my mind lingers somewhere else entirely—somewhere softer or maybe darker, but definitely not here.

You know? It’s that strange space where you go through the motions, smile when expected, nod at the right times, yet inside, you’re oceans away, tangled in memories, possibilities, or aching uncertainties. You’re present enough to function but detached enough to feel like a ghost in your own life.

Time passes, but it doesn’t feel real. Conversations echo, but their meanings blur.

Being in a liminal space—no longer who you were, not yet who you’re becoming—holding onto fragments of old stories while yearning for a new one to begin.

It’s exhausting and weightless all at once, like being suspended in fog, waiting for clarity to come, for the ground to feel solid again, for your heart and your body to finally land in the same place.

Life is beautiful and through all of this I still find myself still happy & grateful to experience this space. It’s still the present moment & it’s never the same twice, so it makes it all the more special.
